College football watch list season has arrived, and Michigan football has a few players getting early recognition.
Wolverines senior quarterback Shea Patterson landed on the 2019 Maxwell Award watch list. The Maxwell Award is presented annually to the country's top player overall.
A returning starter, Patterson threw for 2,600 yards, 22 touchdowns and seven interceptions last season with a quarterback rating of 149.9.
Elsewhere, Michigan senior cornerback Lavert Hill and senior safety Josh Metellus landed on the 2019 Bednarik Award watch list.
