Michigan football: QB Kevin Doyle decommits in class of 2018

Kevin Doyle held off on signing a national letter of intent with Michigan football in December.

Now, he won't sign one at all.

The three-star quarterback from St. John's College High School in Washington, D.C., announced his decision to decommit from Michigan on Monday. The regular signing period begins Wednesday with National Signing Day.

Doyle, a 6-foot-4, 210-pounder, threw for 2,635 yards and 22 touchdowns last season as a high school senior.

He rated as the No. 555 player in the 2018 class by 247Sports.

When he committed in September, he was one of two quarterbacks in Michigan's signing class.
