Michigan football puts Michael Barrett at WR; Nate Schoenle on the mend

Multi-faceted Michigan football freshman Michael Barrett is indeed now a wide receiver, according to Jim Harbaugh.

U-M's head coach confirmed as much Tuesday during the Big Ten coaches teleconference after Barrett was seen warming up with the wideouts before Saturday's win at Northwestern.

The 6-foot, 224-pound Barrett was one of the more interesting prospects signed in Michigan's 2018 recruiting class, as the number of positions he could potentially play seemed higher than most.
