Michigan football named its new radio team for game day on Tuesday. And it's a familiar pair for Wolverines fans.
Longtime 97.1 The Ticket host and Michigan radio sideline reporter Doug Karsh will handle the play-by-play. And former U-M and NFL offensive lineman and fellow host on WXYT-FM, Jon Jansen, a voice on Michigan broadcasts the last few years, will handle the analysis.
Karsh, 52, has been the sideline reporter and pregame host for U-M radio games for the last 16 seasons. Since 2001, he has been a host at 97.1, partnered with Scott "The Gator" Anderson for their midday sports talk show for almost 20 years.
