Jim Harbaugh wasn't thrilled with Karan Higdon's decision to skip the Peach Bowl, even if he respected his right to do so. But, the silver lining in Michigan not having its top running back for the final game of the season was its ability to evaluate the future.
And the future has been underway for more than a month now.
