Michigan Football: Latest on potential defensive tackle transfers

It was pretty clear from watching Michigan football against Ohio State and Wisconsin that the Wolverines need to beef up on the defensive line.

While it was obvious that each team in the College Football Playoff had elite quarterbacks, which was a big reason why Ohio State, LSU, Clemson and Oklahoma made it, each of those teams was very stout in the trenches too.

During Jim Harbaugh’s tenure, Michigan football has been pretty stout along the defensive line, but after some key losses the past few years and some high-profile recruits like five-star Aubrey Solomon that didn’t work out, U-M was left with guys that are a little undersized.
