Michigan football was in the mix to land CJ Carr, the grandson of Lloyd Carr, who is now the starting quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
However, that just wasn't meant to be. But his younger brother, Tommy Carr, will be coming to Ann Arbor to play college football after flipping his commitment from Miami (OH) on Sunday to the Wolverines.
The 6-foot-4, 195 pound quarterback from Saline, Michigan, has only been offered by MAC programs, until Michigan football extended an offer, which led to Carr flipping his commitment weeks before early signing day.
