In mid-July, news broke that Michigan football will have its annual Maize Out game against East Carolina to start the season. It always makes for an incredible atmosphere and seems to help the team get even more amped up than usual. Of course, the crowd is expected to wear all maize, but why hasn’t the team joined them?
Since Rich Rodriguez was let go after the 2010 season, Michigan football has experimented with a few one-off alternate jerseys. All but one of those alternates were during the Adidas era, which is a time period that most Michigan fans would like to forget.
