When Don Brown arrived in Ann Arbor after the 2015 season, he brought a new position with him.

Like the name suggests, Michigan football's "Viper" position is the most unique spot on the defense.

Whoever mans the role must be versatile enough to defend the run, drop back in coverage and rush the passer. It's a juicy role that has featured some of the Wolverines' best athletes over the past four years, including former Heisman Trophy finalist and first-round pick Jabrill Peppers.
