The Nittany Lions are solid offensively and defensively, and for the most part, have blown out their opponents. According to the NCAA’s published numbers, this team is incredible, ranked ninth in scoring offense and second in scoring defense. They’re also fourth in total defense.
It just so happens that one of the few teams that beat Penn state in every category is Wisconsin, but only slightly.
