Michigan Football: How will Drevno leaving affect Calvin Anderson?

One underrated aspect of assistant coaches is their impact on the recruiting process. And for Michigan football, the loss of Tim Drevno could have an impact of its ability to sign graduate transfer Calvin Anderson of Rice.

Anderson, who earned honorable mention honors in Conference USA last season, is one of the few recruits out there who could help a team right away. That’s why Michigan football has competition from Oklahoma, Texas and TCU for his services.

Drevno was in charge of a couple of recruits that ended up signing elsewhere, but so far, he seems to at least done a decent job with Anderson.
