Michigan Football: Five 2020 signees that could make an early impact

Every year Michigan football succeeds in its mission of gathering some of the best athletes in high school and earning a sky-high class rating. 2020’s class is ranked 14th and just a year ago, the Wolverines breached the top ten.

Before we get into the five 2020 recruits that could make an early impact, let’s briefly discuss the 2019 recruits and their impact this past season.

First off, there’s Zach Charbonnet, who had well over 700 yards on the ground. As the Wolverines transitioned from Karan Higdon‘s 1,000-yard season, a new go-to man needed to emerge and the freshman – along with sophomore Hassan Haskins – gave the Wolverines the ground attack that opened up the passing game.
