Michigan Football finds D-line depth with Donovan Jeter and Mazi Smith

Returning defensive lineman Michael Dwumfour spent a chunk of spring practice rehabbing from a foot injury. Don Brown was desperate to find dependable depth. Donovan Jeter said he had no plans of entering the season as a backup. That he wanted to up his game and become a go-to player for Michigan football. Jeter very well could enter the season as the starting nose tackle.

Jeter played in seven games last season as a reserve. Not content in that role, and wanting more Donovan made up his mind to be more physical. That seems to have paid off.
