Michigan football 'building momentum' with big-time Nebraska commitment

Michigan football will be back in action on Saturday against Wisconsin after a bye week. Yet, even with it being a bye week, the Wolverines have been active on the recruiting trail.

Part of that is out of necessity. Michigan football lost a commitment in the 2026 class on Sunday as Ole Miss was able to pull off a flip. Dorian Barney, a four-star cornerback who was flirting with the Rebels and Georgia Tech, flipped to the Rebels.

He's ranked No. 228 overall. Barney was a solid prospect. But Michigan was looking for cornerback help even before his flip to the Rebels.
