Michigan Football: 5 things we learned in blowout of Michigan State

A lot of Michigan football fans are focused on beating Ohio State at the end of the season, as they should be. But there was a time when Jim Harbaugh was criticized for not being able to beat Michigan State or win rivalry games.

Well, after drubbing a top-10 Notre Dame by 31 points and then knocking off the Spartans by 34 points, I’d say that’s no longer an issue. Jim Harbaugh owns Mark Dantonio and the Wolverines once again own the state of Michigan.

It took a few years and maybe longer than some expected, but the Spartans are the “little brother” again and Saturday at the Big House, Michigan football established its dominance with what can only be described as a beat down.
