Michigan's big recruiting weekend has produced its first result.
William Mohan, a 3-star viper linebacker prospect from New York, announced his commitment to Michigan after taking part in U-M's big official visit weekend.
Mohan, a 6-foot-1, 195-pounder, is the No. 415-ranked prospect nationally and the No. 3 player from the state of New York for 2020. He holds reported offers from Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan State, Miami, Pittsburgh and others.
He plays prep football at Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn.
This was perceived by some to be a Michigan-Ohio State battle, as Mohan took an unofficial visit to Columbus earlier this month.
