Michigan escapes!
Jordan Howard picked up 17 on first down before being held to gains of 3 and 0 on the next two plays. Facing 3rd & goal from the 5, Indiana ran a quarterback keeper that got it down to the Michigan 2. Once again, it was do or die for the Hoosiers inside the Michigan 5. This time, the Wolverines escaped as Nate Sudfeld's pass to Mitchell Paige bounced around in the air and fell to the ground thanks to tough coverage from Delano Hill.
Rudock does it again
On the first play of the second overtime, Jake Rudock threw his sixth touchdown pass of the night as he hit Amara Darboh for a 25-yard strike that gives Michigan a 48-41 lead and will force Indiana to score a touchdown to keep the game alive.
