Michigan doesn't have a leader at QB right now, Jim Harbaugh says summer will be critical

ANN ARBOR -- When spring practiced ended a year ago, Jim Harbaugh was open about who the best quarterback was heading into the summer.

This year, he's not quite sure.

A week before Michigan's April 1 spring game, Harbaugh admitted that first-team reps had been narrowed down to redshirt sophomore Wilton Speight, junior John O'Korn and junior Shane Morris.

Speight and O'Korn were the two starters during the spring game itself, with Speight's Maize Team coming away with the victory.

Does that mean Speight entered the summer ahead of O'Korn, or vice versa?

"I haven't decided yet," Harbaugh said Thursday afternoon.
