ANN ARBOR -- The status of injured Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich remains unclear heading into the team's biggest game of the regular season.
Winovich remains under the watchful eye of trainers after X-rays came back negative for a break over the weekend, after he preemptively left Michigan's 31-20 win over Indiana on Saturday due to injury.
That leaves his status questionable for the fourth-ranked Wolverines' regular-season finale at Ohio State on Saturday in Columbus (noon, FOX).
"The best possible outcome, for both Berkley (Edwards) and Chase," head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday during his weekly news conference.
