SALINE – Saline’s Griffin Yaklich and Trevor Arico have only played six games together, but boys basketball coach Jake Fosdick noticed the chemistry the sophomores had the first time they stepped on the court.

The Hornets’ starting backcourt had the chemistry working Tuesday, combining for 25 points in the team’s 38-30 win over visiting Dexter.

“It is still early in the year, but they are going to continue getting more comfortable with each other,” Fosdick said. “It allows us to run a lot of unique stuff with the way they play off each other.
