The No. 4 Wolverines didn’t exactly put on an electrifying show in the entertainment capital of the world.
Rather, they relied on their two talented big men and fifth-year senior leader to get back on track and take care of business in Las Vegas with a 74-61 win over UNLV in the Roman Main Event tournament at T-Mobile Arena.
Fifth-year senior guard Eli Brooks led the way with 22 points and four made 3-pointers for Michigan (3-1), which shot 51% from the field (26-for-51). Freshman forward Moussa Diabate provided a huge spark with 14 points and seven rebounds off the bench and sophomore center Hunter Dickinson added 13 points and seven boards.
