Michigan basketball's seniors can all return for another season after the NCAA granted a free year of eligibility to all winter sport athletes.
But at least one player will be moving on.
Point guard Mike Smith announced Wednesday afternoon that he is declaring for the NBA draft in a post on Instagram.
"All my life I dreamed of playing in the NBA, but I have always been the underdog," Smith wrote. "I have always been told I was too small or that I wasn't good enough to play at the next level.
