Michigan basketball's learning curve begins with Brazdeikis, Matthews

Michigan basketball coach John Beilein walked onto the empty court at the Kohl Center on Saturday afternoon, less than an hour after his team's first loss of the season, and openly discussed the struggles of his two leading scorers.

In the 64-54 loss to Wisconsin, freshman forward Ignas Brazdeikis (zero points, 0-for-5 shooting) and junior wing Charles Matthews (five points, 2-for-5 shooting) combined for as many points as turnovers.

But Beilein wasn't down on his two star players. He saw the situation as an opportunity to get better.
