The past nine months of John Beilein’s life have been more than eventful.
The Michigan men’s basketball coach took his team to the national championship game. He interviewed with the Detroit Pistons, which had an open coaching job.
Then he had double-bypass surgery.
Tuesday afternoon, Beilein spoke publicly for the first time since his surgery, which took place in early August.
