Long before Jace Howard even picked Michigan basketball, he considered what it would be like to play for his father.
Howard grew up accustomed to having a "a dad that was in the spotlight." But he had never actually played for Juwan Howard, the former Fab Five star and NBA lifer, when Juwan accepted the Wolverines' head coaching job in the summer of 2019.
Many deemed it an inevitability that Howard (and his younger brother, Jett) would choose to play for Juwan. But Howard wanted to do his own research before making any decisions.
