When it comes to the NCAA Tournament resume of Michigan basketball, it’s mostly good news. The Wolverines have some solid wins and just as important, no really bad losses. The one thing that’s missing though? Signature wins.
Coming into the week, the Wolverines were projected as a nine seed by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi. Yet, after Michigan basketball beat Illinois and fell just shy of notching an upset over Purdue, UM saw its position improve.
Lunardi released his latest projection Thursday and it had the Wolverines move up a spot. Now, they are an eight seed.
