It seems strange that Michigan basketball only plays Ohio State only once during the regular Big Ten season this year, but that’s the state of the conference with 14 teams right now. Tuesday night will be the Wolverines’ one opportunity to conquer the Buckeyes, unless they run into each other again during the Big Ten tournament.
Michigan needs at least another win (probably more) to really feel good about its NCAA tournament chances. Saturday’s upset over Purdue was a good start, but the resume still needs a little building. Getting a win over a solid rival on the road is a good way to impress once again.
