When Juwan Howard had to choose where he would play college basketball, one of the deciding factors ended up being the level of competition.
Howard had nothing against the ACC, Pac-10, Big Eight or Big East. He just believed the Big Ten, with its rugged style of play, fit him best.
Now he finds himself again preparing for Big Ten play — this time as the coach of the Wolverines.
