When you get to the NCAA tournament, the margin for error really is small. Michigan basketball won two games by a combined five points. One mistake here or one mistake there and the Wolverines season, easily could have been over.
That’s life in tournament basketball. But because of two simple, fundamental things, the Wolverines seem to thrive in the postseason, as evidenced by their 13-6 record in the big dance under John Beilein.
