Michigan basketball surges to No. 9 in AP Poll

Michigan basketball surged Monday to the No. 9 spot in the new AP Top-25 Poll.

The Wolverines swept their three games last week over defending national champion Villanova in Philadelphia, as well as George Washington and Providence at the Air Force Reserve Hall of Fame Tip-Off.
