Thursday could be an important day for Michigan basketball as it will find out about Lance Ware’s college destination. But unless things change or unless a number of experts have misread the situation, Ware appears headed to Kentucky, meaning UM will strike out on another marquee prospect.
The good news is that the Wolverines continue to be in the mix and make the final list for many of these prospects, something that wasn’t happening much before. Head coach Juwan Howard still has some work to do and the late timing of his hire also didn’t help.
