Michigan basketball steals Hunter Dickinson, putting Juwan Howard's recruiting on display

Hunter Dickinson was already a well-known prospect when Michigan basketball dove into his recruitment.

Dickinson, a 7-foot-2 center in the class of 2020 ranked No. 34 overall in the 247Sports composite rankings, attends Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic, a well-known basketball factory in the talent-rich D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area. Dickinson also played for Team Takeover on the Nike EYBL circuit, one of the most talented and recognizable AAU teams across the country that won the Peach Jam in 2018.

Dickinson has been a touted prospect throughout his career, consistently ranked in the upper half of the top-100 rankings.
