Michigan basketball coach John Beilein speaks to the media after the 65-49 win over Ohio State on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at Crisler Center. Orion Sang, Detroit Free Press
Zavier Simpson grew up watching Ohio State. It was his "home-state team." His "dream school."
But dreams often change.
Simpson ended up at the University of Michigan. And Tuesday night, he became the sixth player in school history to record a triple-double — and he did it against the Buckeyes.
Simpson was the catalyst in the Wolverines' 65-49 victory. He finished with 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting, 10 rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, one block — and zero turnovers.
