The Michigan men's basketball team's trip to Spain will cost at least $150,000.
MLive obtained the University's contract with Anthony Travel through a records request. It requires the school to pay $5,470 for each member of the traveling party -- a minimum of 28 people and a maximum of 35. Therefore, the total cost for the trip will be between $153,160 and $191,450.
It is about $500 more, per person, than U-M paid Anthony Travel for the basketball team's trip to Italy in 2014. Anthony Travel also led the Michigan football tour to France in the spring and the women's basketball team's trip to Greece and Italy last summer.
