Michigan basketball reportedly interested in former Columbia point guard Mike Smith

Michigan basketball has reportedly expressed interest in another Ivy League grad transfer.

The Wolverines have reached out to former Columbia point guard Mike Smith, according to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

"Columbia grad transfer Mike Smith tells me he's receiving interest from Arizona and Michigan," Rothstein tweeted Wednesday morning. "Immediately eligible."

Smith averaged 22.8 points this past season in 30 games, shooting 47.4% on 2-point field goals and 33.9% on 3-pointers while also averaging 4.
