Michigan basketball has offered one of the top prospects in the country, regardless of class — and he happens to be from the school's backyard.
Ypsilanti Lincoln forward Emoni Bates announced that he received an offer from the Wolverines on his Twitter account on Thursday. Bates, who led Lincoln to the Division 1 state title as a freshman in March, is regarded as one of the top players in the nation.
