Juwan Howard was coy. But it sounds like Michigan basketball will not have forward Isaiah Livers for Sunday afternoon's showdown at Michigan State.
Center Jon Teske said Friday that he doesn't expect Livers to play, and that Livers "hasn't really been practicing."
"It’s going to be difficult going in there playing without him, but we know we have the guys on this team to go in there and win," Teske said. "And we’ve just got to stay connected and play smart and see what we can do."
Livers, the team's second-leading scorer with 13.6 points per game, injured his groin early in Michigan's win against Presbyterian on Dec.
