Before he comes to the states to play for Michigan, Moritz Wagner has unfinished business in Germany. He is currently putting up impressive numbers for Alba Berlin in the German Under-19 playoffs. Today he led his team to a victory over EWE Baskets Oldenburg and has put Alba Berlin in the semifinals.
Wagner is averaging 16.5 points per games and over 5 rebounds per game for the Alba Berlin junior pro team this season. In the victory today he went for 18 points on 6-10 shooting in 27 minutes of action. He is the best player on his junior team and even spent some time on Alba Berlin’s main roster this season, competing against former college basketball standouts in practice.
