The Michigan basketball program did a nice job of recruiting Lance Ware and Juwan Howard kept the Wolverines in the mix but in the end, Ware went to Kentucky.
He made the announcement Thursday afternoon. He recently visited Ann Arbor and Michigan basketball and had other previously scheduled other visits this month, but canceled them after meeting with Kentucky head coach John Calipari.
Pat Lawless reported the news on Twitter and according to his tweet, Ware like the family-like atmosphere at Kentucky.
