Michigan basketball faces tall task – literally – in stopping Purdue's Matt Haarms

Just over a month ago, Michigan basketball took its undefeated record to Louisville for a top-five matchup.

Since then, Michigan, No. 19 in the USA TODAY coaches poll, lost that game and four of its last seven. Three of those losses have been against ranked opponents.

The going won’t get any easier for Michigan over the next two weeks, beginning Thursday against Purdue (7 p.m., Fox Sports 1).

For one of only a few times this season, 7-foot-1 senior center Jon Teske will be at a height disadvantage in his matchup on Thursday against the Boilermakers 7-3 Matt Haarms.
