Michigan Basketball: Don’t sleep on David DeJulius as a possible starter

The Michigan basketball season starts in just over a week, but last week, the Wolverines took the floor for a closed scrimmage against Detroit, which offered a glimpse into what the team currently looks like.

Of course, without Franz Wagner or Brandon Johns, who were both injured, it’s hard to get a full grasp of the team, the lineup or the offense, but there were some important developments captured by those in attendance.

As far as Johns was concerned, he didn’t play but that’s not because he couldn’t. He will be ready for the season opener, but in his absence, UMHoops reported that the Wolverines started Zavier Simpson, Eli Brooks, Adrien Nunez, Isaiah Livers and Jon Teske.
