The NBA draft is always a crap shoot, especially after the Lottery. That’s why the Milwaukee Bucks taking a shot on D.J. Wilson of Michigan basketball makes perfect sense.
For one, Wilson offered plenty of upside with the 16th pick and even though he was selected earlier than some projected, the potential return on investment is huge.
At 6-10, Wilson has tremendous length, but was also blessed with outstanding athleticism. He is a high-flying player that can not only score around the rim, but can protect it too.
Milwaukee is a team that values versatility.
