Michigan basketball beats Detroit Mercy, 82-75, in closed scrimmage

Michigan basketball edged Detroit Mercy, 82-75, in a closed scrimmage on Thursday, according to a U-M spokesperson.

U-M was led by four players in double figures, including guard David DeJulius, who came off the bench to score a team-high 21 points. DeJulius, a sophomore, shot 7 of 9 from the field and made 7 of 8 3-pointers.

Point guard Zavier Simpson had seven points, seven rebounds and 13 assists.
