Michigan basketball assistant coach Saddi Washington sticking with program

Michigan basketball will not be saying goodbye to its longest-tenured assistant coach.

Saddi Washington confirmed with the Free Press on Wednesday afternoon that he will be staying with the Wolverines.

Washington, 44, was a candidate for the head coaching job at Western Michigan, his alma mater.
