COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Michigan basketball had a chance to spoil Maryland's Big Ten title hopes.

Instead, the Terrapins defended their home court, clinching a share of the conference title by beating Michigan, 83-70.

The Wolverines enter the postseason with a 19-12 record and went 10-10 in conference play.
