The last couple of months have been crazy for Michigan basketball as the Wolverines have undergone a massive change that wasn’t really expected.
Sure, after John Beilein flirted with the Detroit Pistons last year, there were some indications that he was ready to test the NBA waters. He did say though that Michigan basketball would be his last job and you tended to believe him.
However, the job with Cleveland came along and he jumped at the opportunity. The challenge of the NBA and coaching at the highest level of basketball was surely appealing to Beilein.
