If you had to choose three breakout stars from the 2019-20 Michigan basketball season, who would it be?
For me, it’s easy: Franz Wagner, Isaiah Livers, and Austin Davis, with Davis being the least likely to perform as he did.
While he started slow, Wagner adapted to the college game and, if the conference and national tournaments were allowed to continue, Franz could have landed on several draft boards and headed to an NBA locker room in June.
Instead, he returns to Ann Arbor for what is going to be a fantastic season, considering the outcome of the recruiting efforts by Juwan and his staff.
