The Michigan baseball team has been doing a lot of traveling over the first few weeks of the season. Their weekend travels took them to California to take on the Cal Poly Mustangs. It was a good weekend for the Wolverines as they won 2 of 3 games. That brings their record against Cal Poly to 3-1 on the season.
In the first game of the series, Michigan baseball sent Jeff Criswell to the mound. He did what he does best throwing 7 2/3 innings of two-run ball. He gave up two runs in the first inning but settled in nicely after that.
