Michigan Baseball beats Bowling Green, set for series against Michigan State

Michigan Baseball came crashing back down to earth last weekend by getting swept at home by Iowa. The series greatly disrupted the momentum Michigan had established with a seven-game winning streak and halted its progress in the Big Ten race, as the Wolverines are now in 10th place at 8-10 in conference play.

Looking to get the sour taste out of its mouth, Michigan took on Bowling Green Tuesday afternoon at Ray Fisher Stadium. After a 1-2-3 first inning for Will Rogers, the offense got him some run support right away courtesy of a Cole Caruso sacrifice fly that allowed Benjamin Casillas to score.
