Michigan athletics has school-record graduation success rate

The University of Michigan's athletic department set a school-record for overall graduation success rate, per an NCAA report.

U-M's 23 varsity sports programs posted a four-year rolling average graduation success rate (GSR) of 93 percent, two points higher than last year and an all-time high for the school.

Michigan's overall federal graduation rate (FGR), 81 percent, is also an all-time high.

Michigan was the only athletic department in the Big Ten to post 100 percent GSR numbers in men's and women's basketball. The other programs posting a perfect 100 percent in the most recent update were men's golf, men's gymnastics, men's tennis, women's rowing, women's golf, women's gymnastics, softball, women's volleyball and women's water polo.
